UPPSC Medical Education Professor & Assistant Professor 2026: Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Screening Examination (Objective Type)
- UPPSC may hold a screening test to shortlist candidates for the interview.
- Negative Marking: One-third (0.33) of the marks of a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Minimum Efficiency Standard: SC / ST candidates need 35% marks, other category candidates need 40% marks.
- Weightage For Research Scholars: Research Scholars of the Chief Minister Fellowship Programme get weightage marks (1.0 to 7.5 marks) in the screening exam, based on their tenure.
Interview
Only candidates who qualify the screening test as per Commission standards get a call for interview. Simply being eligible does not guarantee an interview call.
