Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Rally 2026: Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
The rally begins with document checks and qualifying physical tests at Jorhat or Diphu. Candidates who pass these stages take the 100-mark CBT. General and EWS candidates need at least 35%; SC, ST and OBC candidates need 33%.

When will the Assam Rifles recruitment rally begin?

What is the age limit?
The age is calculated on 1 July 2026. Cipher, Draughtsman, OT Technician and Physiotherapist require 18 to 25 years; the other listed trades require 18 to 23 years.
What are the physical tests?
The normal male height standard is 170 cm with 80 to 85 cm chest. The male PET requires a 5 km run in 24 minutes, or a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes 30 seconds for Ladakh candidates.

Candidates must qualify the physical, trade and medical stages. Final merit is based on CBT marks among those who qualify the other stages.
