SSC GD Constable 2026: Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Selection Procedure
- SSC uses the computer-based exam scores to shortlist candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
- Candidates must finish the race within the time limit and meet the required height, weight and chest measurements. These tests must be passed and their scores are excluded from the merit list.
- Candidates who clear the physical tests attend the medical examination and show their original documents for checking.
- SSC prepares final merit using the normalised computer-based exam score and eligible NCC bonus marks. Candidates must also clear the physical and medical tests and document checks.
