Eligibility Details
- Master’s Degree in the relevant subject or allied subject.
- General/EWS: Minimum 55% marks.
- SC/ST/BC (NCL)/EBC (NCL)/PwD (Bihar): Minimum 50% marks.
- AND fulfill any one of the following:
- Qualified UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/SET, OR
- Hold a Ph.D. degree as per applicable UGC Regulations, OR
- Hold an eligible Ph.D. from a Top 500 foreign university.

Selection Process
Stage 1: Academic Score (88 Marks)
- Candidates are awarded marks based on their academic qualifications and research achievements.
- Research & Eligibility (Max. 22 Marks): Ph.D., JRF, and NET/SLET/SET.
- Post Graduation (Max. 26 Marks): Marks are awarded according to the percentage obtained.
- Graduation (Max. 17 Marks): Marks are awarded according to the percentage obtained.
- Intermediate (10+2) (Max. 13 Marks): Marks are calculated based on the percentage obtained.
- Matric (10th) (Max. 10 Marks): Marks are calculated based on the percentage obtained.
Stage 2: Interview & Teaching Demonstration (12 Marks)
- Teaching Skill Demonstration: 6 Marks
- Interview with Selection Board: 6 Marks
Shortlisting for Interview
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their academic score in a 1:3 ratio (up to 3 candidates for each vacancy).
Final Merit List
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined score of Academic Qualifications (88 Marks) and Interview (12 Marks), making a total of 100 Marks.
Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates secure the same total marks, preference will be given in the following order:
- Higher Academic Score.
- Older Candidate.
- Alphabetical order of the candidate’s name (in Devanagari script).
University Allotment
- Selected candidates will be allotted universities based on Merit-cum-Choice, subject to vacancy availability and the preferences submitted during the application process.
