Apprentice Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Selection Process
There is no written exam and no interview for this apprentice engagement. Selection is done purely on academic merit, in the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on the percentage of marks scored in their Degree/Diploma.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are called for verification of original certificates. No travelling allowance is given for this.
- Merit Panel: After document verification, a merit panel is prepared based on academic scores.
- Final Selection: Candidates are engaged strictly as per their position in the merit panel, against the available posts.
- Selected candidates are informed only through email, so keep your email ID active and check it regularly.
How to Apply
- Register yourself on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) Portal.
- Upload your Degree/Diploma certificate and a valid government ID.
- Make sure your Aadhaar is linked with your bank account and DBT-enabled.
- After NATS registration, log in to the UMANG Portal and search for “URSC Apprenticeship”.
- Fill in all required details carefully and submit the form.
- Upload all documents (photo, signature, marksheets, certificates, category certificates) in the prescribed format and size.
Important Points to Remember
- Only one application is allowed per email ID.
- Data submitted online is final and cannot be changed later.
- Any mismatch in name, age, marks or passing year with your certificates will lead to rejection.
- If you submit more than one application, only the latest one will be considered.
- There is no guarantee of a job in ISRO/URSC after completing the apprenticeship training.
