Eligibility Details
- Candidate must be an Indian National.
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Must have English Shorthand speed of 120 words per minute.
- Should have working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and Page Maker.
- Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department.

Senior Private Secretary & Private Secretary Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Selection for both posts is done through a common process. Candidates who wish to apply for both posts need to fill only one application. Based on merit rank in the final list, ITAT will offer the post of Senior Private Secretary or Private Secretary. The process has three stages:
- Written Examination
- Skill Test
- Personal Interview
Written Examination (English Medium)

Skill Test
Only candidates who clear the Written Examination are called for the Skill Test, which carries 100 marks in total:
- English Shorthand at 120 words per minute
- English Typing at 45 words per minute
Personal Interview
Candidates who qualify the Skill Test are called for a Personal Interview worth 75 marks. The final merit list is prepared using the combined marks of the Skill Test and the Interview.

Examination Centres
Candidates can choose 2 preferred exam cities out of the following 9 centres. ITAT may cancel a centre with low applications and shift candidates to their second choice.

No TA/DA is provided to candidates, except SC/ST candidates, who are entitled to second-class rail/bus fare as per rules. All disputes related to this recruitment fall under Mumbai jurisdiction.
