Board of Technical Education (or recognized equivalent) with 3 years’ experience. ➡️ Working knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri script is mandatory. |

UP Architectural Assistant, Estate Manager & Microbiologist Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Selection is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the written examination.
Exam Pattern
- The exam is OMR based, for objective-type papers. Candidates must use a Black Ball Point Pen only.
- The OMR sheet has three copies: Original (Pink), Preserved (Green) and Candidate’s (Blue).
- Negative Marking: 0.33 (one-third) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for SC/ST candidates, 40% for other categories. Candidates scoring below this will not be included in the merit/select list.
- Research Scholars under the Chief Minister Fellowship Programme get weightage marks from 1.0 to 7.5, based on total exam marks and research tenure (1 to 3 years).
Syllabus
- Architectural Assistant: General Studies (General Science, History, Geography, Polity, etc.), Hindi, and Architecture-specific subjects.
- Estate Manager: General Studies (Mathematics, Hindi, Computer, General Knowledge) and Logical Reasoning.
- Microbiologist: General Studies and Microbiology-specific units (microbial diversity, food spoilage, food safety, and waste management).
