PNB will select candidates for the Local Bank Officer post through four stages: Online Written Test, Document Screening, Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) and Personal Interview.
1. Online Written Test

|---|---|---|---|
| Reasoning & Computer Aptitude | 25 | 25 | 35 |
| Data Analysis & Interpretation | 25 | 25 | 35 |

- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for General/EWS and 35% for Reserved category candidates, in each section.
2. Screening
The bank checks the online application and documents for eligibility. Ineligible candidates are rejected at this stage.
3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
This is a qualifying test for candidates who did not study the local language of the applied State in Class 10th/12th. It checks reading, writing and speaking skills. Candidates who fail this test become ineligible for final selection.
4. Personal Interview
- Total Marks: 50
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 45% (22.50 marks) for SC/ST candidates and 50% (25 marks) for other candidates.
Final Selection
Final selection is based on combined marks of the Online Written Test and Personal Interview, subject to qualifying the LLPT and meeting all eligibility conditions. The merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise. In case of a tie, the older candidate (by date of birth) gets preference.
