Manager & Junior Executive Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
AAI will select candidates through a Computer Based Test, followed by document verification and, depending on the post, an interview or physical tests. The full process is given below.
Selection Stages
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Objective type, for all posts
- Shortlisting based on CBT marks
- Application/Document Verification for shortlisted candidates
- Interview – for Manager posts (Post Codes 1 to 11) only
- Physical Measurement Test (PST), Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test (PET) – for Manager (Fire Services), Post Code 7 only
- Final Merit List based on CBT score (and Interview score, where applicable)
- Medical Examination for selected candidates

Important Points
- Call letters and roll numbers will be issued only through the AAI website / registered email ID.
- Candidates applying for Manager (Operations) or Junior Executive (Operations) must hold a valid permanent LMV driving license.
- Selected candidates for Fire Services must sign a Surety Bond of ₹5 Lakhs to serve AAI for 3 years after training.
- No TA/DA is payable for appearing in the CBT.
- Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.
