🔹 Science Subjects
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Mathematics & English and 50% aggregate marks + 50% marks in English
- OR 3-Year Engineering Diploma (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English
- OR 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics and 50% aggregate marks + 50% marks in English
🔹 Other Than Science Subjects
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- 10+2 (Intermediate) in any stream with 50% aggregate marks + 50% marks in English
- OR 2-Year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate marks + 50% marks in English

Agniveervayu intake 02/2026 Selection Procedure
The selection process for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 consists of the following phases:
Phase-I: Online Test
Candidates must appear for an online objective-type examination. The exam is conducted in English and Hindi (except the English section).
Exam Duration:
- Science Subjects: 60 Minutes
- Other Than Science Subjects: 45 Minutes
- Science & Other Than Science Subjects: 85 Minutes
Marking Scheme:
- Correct Answer: +1 Mark
- Wrong Answer: -0.25 Mark
- Unattempted Question: 0 Mark
Candidates must qualify in each paper separately to be shortlisted for the next phase.
Phase-II: Document Verification & Physical Tests
Shortlisted candidates will be called to the designated Airmen Selection Centre (ASC) for:
- Document Verification
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Adaptability Test-I
- Adaptability Test-II

Phase-III: Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify Phase-II will undergo a detailed medical examination conducted by the Indian Air Force Medical Team.
The medical test includes various health investigations such as blood tests, urine tests, chest X-ray, ECG, and other prescribed examinations. Candidates declared medically unfit may apply for an Appeal Medical Board (AMB).
Final Selection
- Provisional Select List (PSL): Expected in the last week of May 2027.
- Enrolment List: To be published after 01 June 2027.
Final enrolment will be based on merit, medical fitness, and available vacancies. Inclusion in the PSL does not guarantee final enrolment.
