HPPSC Medical Officer 2026: Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Selection Stages
The recruitment uses an objective screening paper, a descriptive medical paper and a personality test.

- Duration is one hour. The commission may use CBT or an offline paper.
- Each question offers A to E. Select E when you do not want to answer.
- A wrong answer, multiple answers or leaving every option blank results in a 0.25-mark deduction.
- A zero or negative Paper-I score disqualifies the candidate.
- Paper-II scripts are shortlisted through the notified formula of 500 plus five answer sheets for each post after the first 25.
