Important Exam Rules
- Candidates must qualify each section and also secure the overall qualifying score decided by UIIC.
- There will be section-wise cut off and overall cut off in each category.
- For each wrong answer in objective tests, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
- No penalty will be applied for unanswered questions.
- Final merit will be prepared with online exam and interview marks in 75:25 ratio.
- For Generalists, Prelims and Descriptive Test marks will not be counted in final merit.
- For Hindi Officers, Preliminary Exam marks will not be counted in final merit.
- If two or more candidates get the same consolidated score, the older candidate will be placed higher in merit.
Scribe and Compensatory Time
- Eligible PwBD candidates may use their own scribe as per the conditions given in the notification.
- Candidates using a scribe may get 20 minutes compensatory time for every hour of examination.
- Visually Impaired candidates may use magnified font facility as per rules.
