MP TET 2026 Exam Information:
This is an Eligibility Test, Not a Recruitment
This test is being held on the order of the Honorable Supreme Court (Civil Appeal Nos. 1385/2025 and 1386/2025, dated 01 September 2025) so that primary and middle school teachers already working in government or private schools, who haven’t cleared TET yet, can meet the Right to Education Act’s requirement. Clearing this test will not count as a fresh recruitment for any government teacher post — it only protects the job of a teacher who is already appointed.
Eligibility Details
- A candidate must already be working on the teacher post for which they’re appearing, and must upload their original appointment order with its number, date and the school’s DISE code.
- Government school teachers also need to give their Unique ID / IFMIS Code (private school teachers don’t need this).

MP MSPSTET 2026: Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
General Exam Rules
- The exam is a fully online computer-based test (CBT) with MCQs, 4 options per question.
- 1 mark for every correct answer, and no negative marking for wrong answers.
- Papers are bilingual (Hindi and English) except the language papers; for translation disputes, the Hindi version is treated as final, except in technical/scientific subjects where the English version is final.
- If any question gets cancelled, marks are re-adjusted using this formula: Final Marks = (Correct Answers × Total Marks) ÷ (Total Questions − Cancelled Questions).
- Candidates can raise objections on answer keys within 3 days of the objection window opening, by paying ₹150/- plus other charges per question. Re-evaluation or re-counting is not allowed.
