Selection Process
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
- Mode: Objective Type (MCQs)
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 200
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Subjects: General Knowledge & Current Affairs
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 30%
- Negative Marking: 0.2 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Candidates up to 20 times the total vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on merit.
Stage 2: Main Examination
The Main Exam consists of two papers.
Paper I – General Hindi
- 100 Questions
- 200 Marks
- 2 Hours
- Minimum 30% marks required to qualify.
- Marks are not counted in the final merit list.
Paper II – General Studies
- 100 Questions
- 200 Marks
- 2 Hours
- Subjects include General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability.
- Negative Marking: 0.2 marks for each incorrect answer.
Candidates up to 6 times the total vacancies will be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) based on the marks obtained in Paper II.
Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The PET is qualifying in nature. Candidates must pass all physical events, including:
- Running
- High Jump
- Long Jump
- Shot Put
No marks are awarded for the PET.
Stage 4: Final Merit List
The final merit list is prepared only on the basis of Paper II (General Studies) marks.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
