ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Mode of Selection
- Merit-Based Selection: There is no written exam or interview. Selection is done through a merit list prepared using the marks obtained in Std X.
- COVID Pass Candidates: Candidates who passed Std X during COVID-19 will have their merit prepared using marks from Std IX or the Std X half-yearly exam, duly signed by the Principal.
- Trade Allotment: Freshers can give their trade options; allotment is done based on merit and vacancy availability. Once a trade is allotted, no change of trade is permitted later.
Tie-Breaking Rule
- If two candidates get equal marks in Std X:
- The older candidate is given preference.
- If the birth date is also the same, the candidate who passed Std X earlier is preferred.
