Shortlisting For Interview
- A trade-wise and category-wise merit list is prepared first.
- Shortlisting is based on the aggregate percentage of marks in the ITI trade and Class 10.
Interview And Technical Test
- Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview at the Apprentice Training School, Sri Vijaya Puram.

Final Merit List & Tie-Breaking Rule
The final merit list is prepared using interview marks. If two candidates score equal marks, this order is followed to break the tie:

- Alphabetical order of candidate’s name (starting from ‘A’)
