Eligibility Details
- Master’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university or deemed university.
- B.Ed. from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
- At least 4 years of teaching Classes 9–12 as a Lecturer (PGT) or Assistant Teacher (TGT) in a Central or State Government recognized institution; or 4 years as Headmaster of a recognized high school.
- The experience certificate must be issued by the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) or KVS Regional Authority. It must also be countersigned by the Joint Director of Education or the competent regional officer.

Equal Marks in Final Merit
- Higher written exam marks will be checked first, followed by higher interview marks.

- Eligible PwD candidates who bring a scribe must register the scribe details with the Commission at least 1 week before the exam.
- Eligible candidates will get 20 extra minutes per hour, or 40 extra minutes for this 2-hour exam.
