Eligibility Details
- B.E./B.Tech (Paper 1): Students must pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject such as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject.
- B.Arch (Paper 2A): Students must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- B.Planning (Paper 2B): Students must pass Class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- 3-Year Diploma: Students who have completed a recognized 3-year diploma from an approved institution are also eligible.

NTA JEE (Main) 2027: Admission Process & Exam Pattern
Admission Process
- Take Session 1, Session 2 or both sessions.
- NTA converts marks from different shifts into percentile scores to compare candidates.
- If you take both sessions, the better total NTA score is used for the final rank. Subject-wise best scores are not combined.
- The top 2,50,000 successful Paper 1 candidates can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2027, subject to its eligibility rules.
- JoSAA and CSAB conduct counselling and seat allotment. Admission depends on rank and the institute’s admission rules.

What is the last date for NTA JEE Main 2027 Session 1?
The regular application and fee payment deadline is 22/11/2026 at 11:50 PM. Candidates can also submit the form from 23/11/2026 to 26/11/2026 at 11:50 PM by paying an additional ₹500 late fee.
When will NTA JEE Main 2027 exams be held?
The January session is scheduled for 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28/01/2027. The April session is scheduled for 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 and 07/04/2027. Check the admit card for the assigned date and shift.
Who can apply for NTA JEE Main 2027?
Students who first passed Class 12 or an accepted equivalent exam in 2025 or 2026 can apply. Students appearing in 2027 can also take the exam. Those who passed in 2024 or earlier are not eligible.
