Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Selection Process 2026

The selection process consists of four stages. The final merit list is prepared out of 100 marks.

Stage 1: Physical Test (PST & PET)

Candidates must first qualify the Physical Test conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Police Department.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

  • Height is measured.
  • Candidates meeting the minimum height are eligible.
  • Up to 6 marks are awarded based on height.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (Qualifying Only)

  • 1500m/800m Race
  • 100m Race
  • High Jump
  • Broad Jump

Note: No marks are awarded for PET. Candidates who fail any event will be disqualified.
